Les pêcheries de la Zone de la Convention visent actuellement la légine australe (Dissostichus eleginoides), la légine antarctique (Dissostichus mawsoni), le poisson des glaces (Champsocephalus gunnari) et le krill antarctique (Euphausia superba). Ces pêcheries sont gérées selon l'approche écosystémique et de précaution, et des objectifs de gestion qui équilibrent la « conservation » et « l'utilisation rationnelle » des ressources vivantes et maintiennent les relations écologiques existantes.

Access to restricted data is limited to Members and all requests must be endorsed by the relevant National Representative before submission to the Secretariat.
One of the primary functions of the CCAMLR Secretariat is to manage and process data on behalf of the Commission. These data are stored following different access protocols to balance transparency with confidentiality. Some data are publicly available, while other data are subject to the Rules for Access and Use of CCAMLR with some data being subject to additional provisions.
