New Software Developer and IT Support Officer

James Eisenhower and Mingyun Qie

The Secretariat welcomes Mingyun Qie to the International Professional role of Software Developer at CCAMLR. Mingyun has many years of experience working in China as a software developer and has been living and working here in Tasmania since 2020. Mingyun has a Bachelor of Bioinformatics from Huazhong Agricultural University, China, and a Master of ICT for the University of Tasmania, Australia. Mingyun’s skillset is a very welcome addition to the Data and Information Systems team, and we look forward to her contributions.

The Secretariat also welcomes James Eisenhower to the role of IT Support Officer at CCAMLR. James has many years of experience as an IT professional all over the world, spending much of his career working in the United States. James has extensive hands-on experience providing client-focused technical support to small businesses and large corporate organisations making him a great fit for the Secretariat.

Both Mingyun and James join us at an exciting time being our first in-person meeting since 2019.
