| 7.1.1.1 The RP considered that CCAMLR will increasingly come under financial pressure in pursuing the Convention’s objectives. This Review has highlighted many areas which will require greater attention and financial resources over coming years. In addition, it appears that the growth in fishing operations (if not for finfish then certainly for krill) will continue. In these circumstances, the RP saw significant merit in the Commission seeking to expand its financial base through identifying and charging for the full cost of services which are provided for commercial fishing operations.
