At the end of July the Secretariat said farewell to Finance Officer Christina (Chris to those of us in the office) Macha, so she may hang up her calculator and enjoy a well-earned retirement. Chris has been part of the scenery here for over two decades after initially accepting a temporary position only meant to last for a month! Chris has been the contact for many Members regarding finances at CCAMLR and will be missed by many far beyond the walls of the Secretariat, and far beyond her position description as all the extras she looked after will be hard to manage without her.

We wish Chris all the best for her busier than ever retirement.
