7. Preliminary Results of a Bottom Trawl Survey Around Elephant Island in October and December 1987

9. Notothenia (p.) gibberifrons Stock Status and TAC Estimation in the Area of Shag Rocks (Subarea 48.3)

   Abstract:  Data on age composition of catches and fishing efforts for 1979/80- 1987/88 were used to analyse N. guntheri stock status. On the basis of these data using VPA method with different adjustments stock estimates were obtained. Instantaneous natural mortality coefficient was M = 0.7- 0.9
