Following Resolution 1 (2004) adopted at the Twenty-seventh Meeting of the ATCM, the Secretariat has prepared this paper to review all the environmental protection-related provisions of various CCAMLR Conservation Measures in force. The suggestion is made that there may be benefit in consolidating such provisions within a single measure insofar as they relate directly to the potential environmental consequences of fishing activities. It is also suggested that the Commission may wish to keep its environmental provisions under review in the interests of clarity and promoting cross-referencing.
