In the 2012/13 fishing season Spain began the implementation of a multi-annual Research Plan for Divisions 58.4.1 and 58.4.2 in order to estimate local biomass of Dissostichus spp. by means of two methods: depletion and tagging. Although a big effort has been placed for their accomplishment, results have to be analyzed in the coming months but some doubt about the reliability of data could be express due to accessibility problems by the ice cover and traces of IUU fishing found in the proposed areas. Together this analysis and considering that a single member proposal could not be enough to provide a reliable data set to lead to an integrated stock assessment of the target species, Spain intends to conduct research fishing during the 2016/17 season in the 58.4.1 Division following the same scheme that other member’s previous proposals with small modifications in order to expedite the realization of a toothfish stock assessment in this so called poor-data division.
La CCRVMA implementa un Procedimiento de Evaluación del Cumplimiento (PECC) que evalúa la aplicación y el cumplimiento, por parte de las Partes Contratantes, de las medidas de conservación de una manera responsable, abierta, transparente y no-discriminatoria.
El PECC usa la información entregada a la Secretaría, de conformidad con lo estipulado en la Convención de la CRVMA, las medidas de conservación y otras normas y procedimientos como es el Sistema de Observación Científica Internacional (SOCI) y el Sistema de Inspección.

В рамках ПАОС используется информация, представленная в Секретариат в соответствии с требованиями Конвенции АНТКОМ, мер по сохранению и других правил и процедур, таких как Система АНТКОМ по научному наблюдению (СМНН) и Инспекционная система АНТКОМ.
La CCAMLR met en œuvre une procédure d'évaluation de la conformité (CCEP) ayant pour objectif l'évaluation de l'application et l'observation des mesures de conservation par les Parties contractantes d'une manière responsable, ouverte, transparente et non discriminatoire.
La CCEP utilise les informations fournies au secrétariat en vertu de la Convention CAMLR, les mesures de conservation et d'autres règles et procédures telles que le système international d'observation scientifique (SISO) de la CCAMLR et le système de contrôle.
