The Statistical Bulletin is updated annually and includes:
- Catches and fishing effort for all fisheries in the CAMLR Convention Area (by fishing season)
- Catch histories for selected species
- Global landings and trades of toothfish reported under the Catch Documentation Scheme (by calendar year)
- Seabed areas in the Convention Area.
The CCAMLR Statistical Bulletin, Vol. 25 (
1.62 MB) contains the complete time series of catches, fishing effort, landings and trades. The Archivos de datos del Vol. 25 del Boletín Estadístico de la CCRVMA (165.21 KB) are also available in csv/text format. The Statistical Bulletin has moved to a paperless publication; Volumes 1-24 are available from the Statistical Bulletin - Archive .
Catches and fishing effort are reported by fishing season (1 December to 30 November of the following year) and assigned to the Flag States (unless indicated otherwise). The summaries are based on monthly fishery statistics (STATLANT data) which are derived from haul-by-haul data reported to the Secretariat and verified by the national statistics offices of CCAMLR Members. Catches are expressed in live weight in metric tonnes.
Landings and trades of toothfish (Dissostichus spp.) are reported by calendar year, starting in 2000. The geographic location of export and import is used to assign export, re-export and import countries or entities. Catches, landings and exports reported by some countries or entities may include data in respect of their overseas territories. Weights are expressed as processed weight or estimated live weight in metric tonnes.
CCAMLR's reporting standards for fishery and trade statistics comply with the international standards set by the Coordinating Working Party on Fisheries Statistics (see Partnerships).
