The Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR), an intergovernmental organisation with its Headquarters in Hobart, invites applications for the position of Web Project Officer with primary responsibilities for managing CCAMLR's website.
The Web Project Officer is responsible for managing CCAMLR’s website, including its structure and content, for coordinating CCAMLR’s overall online presence.
The website is in CCAMLR’s four official languages: English, French, Russian and Spanish. Three translation teams provide in-house language services.
Production of an efficient, responsive and useful website with accurate, appropriate and coordinated content. Generation of other communication materials and maintenance of CCAMLR’s online presence. The position should work closely with other Secretariat staff.
Applicants must address the following selection criteria:
Academic and other qualifications
Possession of or substantial progression towards a relevant tertiary qualification (equivalent relevant experience may also be considered)
Work experience and skills
Minimum three years of relevant experience
Significant web project management experience
Working knowledge of HTML
Experience with a popular content management system
Excellent time management skills
Experience with Drupal would be highly desirable
Experience with Sharepoint would be desirable
Other qualities or behaviours
Support the broad mission and goals of the Secretariat
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, multi-skilled environment
A high level of ability to interact with management and staff
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Effective at building good working relationships

Employment terms and conditions
- The initial position will be full time for 3 years, with a probation period of three months. The commencing salary is AU$71 683 per annum.
- Up to 15.8% employer contribution is paid to an approved Superannuation Fund.
- Six weeks annual leave and 10 days personal leave per annum apply.
- Costs of relocation to Hobart will not be paid.

Applicants should be a national of a country which is a Member of CCAMLR, be eligible to work in Australia, and should be able to commence work as soon as practicable.
