Fine-scale biological data must be reported in all fisheries, and must be submitted to the Secretariat by email (data [at] ccamlr [dot] org). These data are collected and submitted by scientific observers (using observer data forms) when specified in the bilateral arrangements (CCAMLR-XVI, paragraphs 8.23 and 9.12). Where no such arrangement is in place, fine-scale biological data must be collected by Flag States on a haul-by-haul basis and submitted using form B2 in accordance with Conservation Measure 23-05.
