CCAMLR’s entire archive of conservation measures and resolutions is now available on the CCAMLR website, in CCAMLR’s four official languages.
Each conservation measure now includes a ‘history’ tab which provides access to the complete time series of that measure (e.g. Conservation Measure 10-02). The history tab is also available for resolutions. Existing conservation measures can now be traced back to their originally adopted form.
This new functionality enables researchers, and others with an interest in conservation in the Southern Ocean, to examine the evolution of each measure or resolution.
The work was completed by Hannah Millward-Hopkins, a volunteer intern, over a period of four months. The archive may be searched using the filter options and this search interface will be further developed in the coming months.
