Abstract: 

New Zealand has been an active contributor to the CCAMLR MPA planning process, and with the USA submitted to the CCAMLR MPA Workshop paper WS-MPA-25 (Sharp and Watters 2011), including a draft New Zealand MPA scenario for the Ross Sea region. This paper presents the New Zealand scenario and the planning method by which the scenario was developed, and provides supplemental information requested by the CCAMLR MPA Workshop, for consideration by the Scientific Committee.
