The Antarctic and Southern Ocean Internship is a collaboration between the International Antarctic Institute (IAI), the Institute for Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS), University of Tasmania, the Secretariat for the Commission for the Conservation of Antarctic Marine Living Resources (CCAMLR) and the Secretariat for the Agreement on the Conservation of Albatrosses and Petrels (ACAP). It provides an opportunity for students with a special interest in scientific, legal, social, economic and policy research to undertake a 6–10 week supervised placement in the Secretariat. Students from any IAI affiliated institution are eligible to apply for this internship.
